Ingredients
500g plain flour
2tsp bicarb of soda
2tsp grounded ginger
1tsp grounded mixed spices
150g butter
200g dark brown sugar (muscavado)
150g golden syrup
2 eggs
Method
1. Cream the butter and sugar, add the golden syrup, add the eggs
2. Fold the dry ingredients, let rest for one day
3. Bake at 150ํํ ํ C for 9 – 10 minutes
You can place the biscuits in the fridge before serving if you wish to soften the exterior
