travelexOver 1,000 people at Travelex's head office in Peterborough are enjoying a fresh food service throughout their working day following the appointment of Wilson Storey Halliday (WSH), the UK's leading independent specialist food services provider.

Travelex, the world's largest foreign exchange specialist, turned to Wilson Storey Halliday as it sought to deliver an inspired and high quality food offering that reflected the worldwide nature of its business to its staff and guests using its offices in Peterborough.

The new food service brings the convenience and variety of the high street to Travelex's European headquarters offices. WSH has worked with Travelex to refurbish their main staff restaurant turning the existing facility into a bistro style eaterie, serving over 650 main meals prepared freshly on the premises every working day.

The revitalised menu offers a global cuisine as well as grab and go lighter eating options including a newly installed, self service salad and deli bar. WSH has also introduced a new bean to cup, fresh coffee option at coffee bars and stations throughout the building.

Travelex has also chosen to adopt Wilson Storey Halliday's hospitality solution providing catering for Travelex's internal meetings and functions.

Speaking about their decision to work with Wilson Storey Halliday, Peter French, Head of Procurement & IT Financial & Asset Management said: "It was obvious that they were simply passionate about food and we believed this passion would translate into excellent service. We place a huge importance on delivering a positive environment for our teams to operate in and WSH have made an enormous effort to understand what our teams need to make their days more successful. Their efforts have paid off and within a few weeks of beginning work their teams have shown us that good food at work is something we can all look forward to."

Simon Esner, Sales Director, Wilson Storey Halliday, added: "People spend a huge proportion of their time at work and it's recognised that we need to enjoy this time as much as possible. Providing teams with food and service that enhances the leisure time they spend at work generates a far more positive approach to their working day and contributes to their ultimate performance."
