The Out of Home Group met up with Keith Wilson, Wilson Storey Halliday to get a deeper understanding of the company and its views on the contract catering market from an independent organisation's point of view.
Wilson Storey Halliday is the UK's leading independent quality caterer. The company has a national presence and services 1% of the outsourced contract catering market held by the independent service providers. 20% of the market is held by independent operators, the remaining 80% is shared by the large multinational contract caterers.
About Keith Wilson:
Keith Wilson (Commercial Director, Wilson Storey Halliday) with Alastair Storey (Managing Director, Wilson Storey Halliday) left Sutcliffe Catering in 1999 to establish a contract catering business which focuses on serving business and industry clients.
The philosophy of their operation was based upon providing high quality food services whilst ensuring an outstanding experience for clients and end user customers. In 2000 they merged with Halliday Catering Services Ltd who operated with the same principles and high standards. Together they became Wilson Storey Halliday Ltd and in 2001, acquired Houston and Church Ltd.
