BaxterStorey Barista Academy - Officially Launched
At a reception held last night, at the home of the Academy at IPC Media, Alastair Storey officially launched our barista training programme.
Clients and Press were present to hear Alastair say:
"With consumer purses still feeling very stretched, workers are turning to their staff restaurants for greater value in larger numbers. Just as we are committed to ensuring our fresh food truly rivals the quality and variety the high street offers, we are determined that our customers can enjoy the most fantastic coffee within their work premises all of the time."
Alastair also marked the the launch by presenting our very first Barista Graduate; Katarzyna Wojciechowska from Addleshaw Goddard London, with her badge and certificate.
Backed by World Barista Champion, James Hoffmann, The Academy will train everyone who serves coffee in our business and will deliver coffee appreciation sessions to our managers and supervisors. Since opening a few weeks ago Tim Sturk, Barista Academy Trainer and James have already delivered training to over 100 participants
