BaxterStorey the business and industry caterer, today announces the appointment of Sarah Peck as sales manager for the North West of England. Since 2008, BaxterStorey has grown to become the UK’s leading caterer for business and industry and its commitment to delivering exciting menus prepared from fresh, seasonal produce using the highest quality, sustainably sourced ingredients ensures that over 200 companies across the region are able to provide their teams with a truly great lunch time experience whilst they are at work.
BaxterStorey has seen its business expand by 28% across the region as companies including Brother International, ITV, npower and Siemens have chosen to work with the caterer as they look to enhance one of the key benefits they deliver to their staff, their work restaurant. Staff at these companies can choose from a range of dining options, from a deli counter style snack to a three course meal all prepared on site by highly trained and motivated chefs using UK produced meat, free range RSPCA Freedom Farm assured eggs and fruit and vegetables freshly sourced from within a 80 – 100 mile radius of the their offices.
"I pride myself on being client-focused”, explained Sarah Peck. “I enjoy working closely with prospective clients to understand their requirements and to develop a service that will truly reflect their employees’ needs and in turn really helps to position them as employers of choice for their teams. I’m really looking forward to helping more companies make their work environment even more enjoyable for their teams.”
Sarah has developed her skills over several years in the catering industry working with John Lewis Partnership and more recently with Host Contract Management where she was responsible for contracts and clients across business and industry and education sites.
Commenting on her appointment, John Bennett director for BaxterStorey said, “Outsourced catering represents a £4 billion market annually and despite the recession it is one area of our economy that has not experienced massive decline. In fact, BaxterStorey has increased its market share at this time because of the way that we operate. As a leading employer we know that keeping staff happy is even more vital in difficult times. Sarah will be working with prospective clients across a region that offers great potential and which has a food heritage of its own that we will be able to share with the companies we work alongside.”
