VirginVirgin Atlantic are based in three offices within the Crawley and Heathrow area. Following a competitive tender review, we were appointed to manage their catering services across the estate which consists of:

  • Restaurants service breakfast and lunch in each building
  • All day café bar at The Base and The Office in Crawley which are open throughout the day serving premiums beverages and snacks
  • Retail shop at The Base
  • Free issue beverage vending
  • Snack and confectionery vending

Our appointment at Virgin Atlantic was made as a direct result of our establishing a cultural fit and our ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of their business requirements and our commitment to CSR and our environmental credentials.  Additional factors which influenced our appointment were our ability to integrate with them as a Client, to become an extension of their organisation and the strength of our support structures to underwrite the delivery of a quality driven service.

We successfully mobilised all three locations and our clients have seen operational benefits, including:

  • An increase in sales through freshly made products, service innovations and marketing strategies
  • Developing the menu range, by creating 90% of all food using fresh, locally sourced, quality ingredients which is noticeably better than previously offered
  • Providing our team with the autonomy to be creative and passionate about cooking having stopped the previous format of weekly menu cycles
  • Re-energising the team and getting them motivated and excited about the changes and training options available to them
